Sylvain started as an IT engineer in an environmental research institute in New Caledonia, his native tropical island. After only a few years, he realized it was not going to make him happy. He went on a quest to find a contribution that would resonate with his heart. He started studying Thai Massage during a trip in Thailand and fell in love with it.

Years later, when he moved to Ontario with his family, he studied Massage Therapy at CCMH and received the award for academic excellence for highest average in 2019. Since 2020, he is enrolled at the Ontario Academy of Progressive Osteopathy in a 5 year program.

His style is a blend of Thai Massage, Western Massage Therapy and osteopathic approach. He will incorporate joint work for the spine and other joints, visceral manipulations, cranio-sacral therapy among other tools. He is passionate about helping people achieve their best self: self-massage using rollers and balls, strengthening, posture and breathing mechanics are some of his favourite tools to empower his clients with.

When he is not treating or studying, he likes spending time with his wife and two boys in nature. After completing osteopathy school, he is eager to get back to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Capoeira.

Hello!

I’ve been practicing for almost 10 years and see people of all ages and genders. Despite having a general practice, I have a special interest in hormonal health, mental health concerns, stress and burnout, fatigue, weight management, and digestive concerns.

I believe you can feel better with the proper investigation and support. I’m here to help guide and empower you so you can reach your health goals. I promise to listen and together we will create a safe and effective plan to address your concerns.

You shouldn’t have your health concerns or symptoms dismissed and I understand how frustrating it is to hear “everything is normal” when you feel anything but normal. I’m fortunate to have enough time with my patients to really understand their concerns and dig deeper into the root cause(s).

When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy cycling, hiking, rock climbing, cooking, and camping. I recently moved to Guelph with my family and am excited to provide care to this vibrant community I now call home.

I graduated with honours from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Science prior to graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where I received my Doctor of Naturopathy degree.

I have completed additional training that allows me to provide hormone replacement therapy and injections of vitamin B12 and vitamin D. I regularly attend continuing education courses focused on evidence based approaches to ensure my patients receive comprehensive and appropriate Naturopathic care.

I am in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and am a professional member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).

I look forward to connecting with you!

Stewart has a wide spectrum of experience with natural therapies. It wasn’t until he studied Osteopathy that he found a healing modality that matched the manner in which he wanted to serve.

Rarely is it the case that one symptom a client feels gives the full picture of what’s going on in the body or why that symptom is felt.

After listening to your history, Stewart combines anatomical knowledge with his ability to follow subtle restrictions in the body to complete that picture and help you on your healing journey.

Hello!

I’m Dr. Andrew and I’m a digestive-focused naturopath in Guelph. As such, I strongly believe in a gut-centered approach to health and healing. I am a board certified Naturopathic Doctor and a member of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP).

I have a clinical focus in treating small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Generally patients seek me out to help them get relief from their chronic digestive complaints like stomach pain, gas, bloating, diarrhea and constipation.

I’m always in the pursuit of knowledge and enjoy staying up to date with the latest research. I’m passionate about individualized care. I am also a firm believer in the integrative care model. This means I enjoy working with you and your healthcare team to come up with the most creative and effective solutions for your complex health concerns.

I know that getting an accurate diagnosis is important!

Being told “it’s just your IBS” isn’t good enough. I place a strong emphasis on this by reviewing your entire health history in the initial consultation. I’ll also use diagnostic and functional testing methods to help give you the answers you deserve.

I may use various treatments in your care including a combination of nutrition and lifestyle counselling, herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutrient injections and intravenous (IV) therapy. I find IV therapy particularly useful for those suffering with chronic gut issues who have malabsorption, nutrient deficiencies and those struggling to maintain their weight or energy levels.

When not in the clinic, I enjoy finding new ways to stay active, reading a good fantasy adventure book and drinking a warm cup of matcha tea.

Looking forward to serving your health needs!

Hi there! I am a registered social worker, having worked in clinical research in mental health and addictions for over 2 decades. I started my journey in the field of Attachment, specializing in adolescent depression and, more broadly, the impact of early childhood on later interpersonal relationships and mental health. Throughout the years to follow, I worked primarily in large teaching hospitals, local mental health facilities, and within a variety of community settings. My later work focused on the development of interventions for improving mental and physical health in persons living with chronic diseases (including diabetes). Over the years, my work has allowed me to engage a broad range of partners, including persons living with serious mental illness, children and adolescents, survivors of trauma, healthcare workers, members of the LGBTTQ2+ community and immigrant women, to name a few.

Although grounded in attachment theory, and experienced in cognitive behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing and other therapeutic modalities, my focus remains client-centred: I work with you to explore your needs, wants and goals for therapy. In doing so, I acknowledge your own lived experiences within a broader world in which biological, psychological, sociological and social factors all interact and intersect to contribute to your uniqueness as a whole human being. Throughout my career, I have strived to maintain a primary focus on relationship development and nurturance within the therapeutic setting, moving beyond the therapeutic modality employed, toward a partnership built on respect. You are the expert in your own life, and I, a partner accompanying you on your journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

Please feel free to reach out to me to set up a complementary 15-minute virtual meet and greet.

I love that my Naturopathic medical training allows me to provide practical and result oriented care which guides my patients in their quest to achieve their personal vision of wellness.

I have a family centered practice with a clinical interest in women’s health concerns such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, integrative fertility support, perimenopause/menopause support, and metabolic health. I believe Naturopathic Medicine has so much to offer women who are looking for an integrative and holistic approach to their hormonal health. I spent the past 3 years practicing on beautiful Vancouver Island. However, I have decided to move my practice to Ontario to be closer to family, and to serve this wonderful community. As part of my clinical internship, I was a member of the clinical focus shift treating patients suffering with Fibromyalgia and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Malerie graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2020 and has been in private practice since 2018. She is thrilled to be a member of OSTCAN association and to be serving the greater community of Guelph where she has lived for the past 8 years.

Always knowing deep down that the body could self-heal and self-regulate, Malerie searched for years to heal the body through different modalities. Through food; attending Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida. Through movement; healing from her own surgery. And then finally Osteopathy found her. Being treated by an Osteopath and having relief of pain within a few treatments inspired Malerie to attend school in Hamilton, Ontario where she underwent a rigorous four and half year program with no less than 4,200 hours of education and hands-on training. Malerie continues to practice classical Osteopathy, following the same principles that were created by the founder (A.T Still) of Osteopathy in 1874.

Osteopaths follow the principles of Osteopathy and work with the body using the anatomy on all layers to guide the treatment. Essentially, Osteopaths realign the body in the centre of gravity, relaxing and lengthening the tissues allowing fluid to flow in the path of least resistance and continue to heal on its own. Osteopaths know the body is self-healing and self-regulating and as long as muscles and organs are getting the supplies they need through the artery and nerve then proper drainage can take place though the vein and lymphatic system which will restore the health of the body. Osteopathic care has been found to be helpful for people of all ages with all types of health concerns, including: musculoskeletal issues (TMJ issues, tendonitis, frozen shoulder & sciatica as some examples) spinal health, traumatic injury, digestive issues, sleep problems, reproductive issues, respiratory health and migraines.

Malerie continues to study anatomy, physiology and principles of practice of Osteopathy when she’s not studying or working she’s busy with her partner, son and fuzzy family on their farm. Filling their days with outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, fishing, archery, any adventure that comes their way.

Hello, I’m Kathryn!

I graduated from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (AIM) Academy in Toronto in 2018 and I am a registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the CTCMPAO.

As a former competitive ski racer, I underwent many treatments for injuries sustained throughout the years. One of these treatments was acupuncture and it sparked something in me that would lead to one of my biggest passions. After trying my hand at a few other career paths, I always knew I was meant for a career in health and wellness and so I began my acupuncture studies in 2015.

Through my clinical experience as a student, I developed a strong love for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and its approach and versatility. I am passionate about helping others discover the root causes of their complaints and I am deeply committed to providing a safe, calm and comfortable environment to work together with you on your journey of healing. Along with my training in acupuncture, I developed a variety of skills including fire cupping, gua sha, tui na and moxibustion.

Currently, I am also undergoing schooling to become a registered massage therapist!

I am so excited to connect and share my knowledge and passion for TCM with you!

Hello I’m Eliza, a registered physiotherapist with a special interest in women’s health and pelvic health physiotherapy.

“I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint- and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.” -Oprah Winfrey

This quote sums up why I do what I do.

My foray into Pelvic health physiotherapy began not as therapist but as a patient. My firsthand experience of the benefits of Pelvic health physiotherapy and the positive influence it had on my quality of life motivated me to pursue further training in Pelvic health physiotherapy.

I graduated in 2009 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. I started practicing in Canada in 2011 with a diverse orthopaedic caseload. Since 2015, I gradually transitioned to Pelvic health physiotherapy, focusing on treating women.

I have completed numerous courses over the past decade, focused on prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation, diastasis rectus abdominis and core rehabilitation, post menopausal pelvic health, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain including endometriosis, dyspareunia, vaginismus and interstitial cystitis and pelvic girdle pain to name a few. In 2021, I completed a pelvic health focused, clinical mentorship in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) approach with Diane Lee and associates in British Columbia.

I have experience working with women of all ages, assisting them to overcome sexual health-related challenges, prepare for childbirth, return to exercise and activity after pregnancy and to age gracefully from peri to post menopause.

I strongly believe that optimal health is a combination of a healthy body, and a resilient spirit and mind. I use a whole person treatment approach that involves sensitive communication, education, manual therapy and individualized exercise prescription.

When I’m not practicing, I life travelling with my partner to off the beaten path destinations. I also enjoy all things artsy and craftsy.

I look forward to being part of your journey; to sharing and learning with you to help you achieve your goals.

As a chiropractor, I am an expert in spinal and neuromuscular health. I focus on treating a variety of biomechanical and musculoskeletal conditions including low back pain, neck pain and headaches, sports injuries, nerve entrapments, extremity injuries, and osteoarthritic conditions. I primarily treat these conditions using hands-on techniques, acupuncture, and by prescribing exercises that suit your specific situation.

I treat patients based on the principles of evidence-based medicine. Before creating an individualized treatment plan, I consider your personal preferences to certain treatments, the most recent peer-reviewed evidence, and my own clinical experience. These three elements are the foundation for generating the best conservative treatment plan possible.

I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to my chiropractic studies, I attended Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario where I completed my Honours Bachelor of Physical and Health Education.

During my chiropractic internship I had the pleasure of seeing patients in both Toronto and Oakville where I gained experience in treating a wide range of muscular and neurological conditions. I have also completed my certification in Functional Integrated Acupuncture in Toronto, Ontario during my clinical year at CMCC.

When I am not in the clinic, you can find me enjoying the outdoors year-round. I am an avid fisherman and spend a great deal of my free time in my boat fishing for bass, pike, and musky. I also love camping, canoeing, and ice fishing.

I believe that when women are healthy and empowered everyone benefits. I work with fierce, ambitious and unapologetic women to create their own unique wellness plan. Having struggled with my own health and navigated the conventional medical system, I’ve seen how female health concerns are dismissed. I remember what it’s like to feel disempowered. I know how disheartening it is when your symptoms are ignored. And I know how much it hurts to be told that your symptoms are “all in your head”. Those symptoms are your body’s way of asking for help and I will never disregard them.

I practice female-focused medicine with an emphasis on education and body literacy. I strive to go beyond just giving you natural therapies. Instead, I work with you and empower you to heal yourself. I am thorough and meticulous by nature, always searching for the why behind your symptoms. I am passionate about the foundations of health, and the restoration of gut health is central to my approach to wellness. I recognize your individuality and will always treat you like the unique human that you are.

Whether it be regulating periods and balancing hormones or optimizing digestion and banishing bloat, I will arm you with the tools and knowledge you need to heal. No band aid solutions and quick fixes here - I’m all about deep healing that gets to the root cause of your health struggles.
